I have just purchased a new plasma tv with many hdmi ports, the problem is most of my old analogue kit has scart type connections. I have found the ideal way to convert analogue scart signals to be up-scaled to 720p hdmi, its easy with this relatively cheap piece of kit.

I must add, this converter has improved picture quality, saved me from having to buy hdmi compliant equipment (for now) and stopped the "picture isnt very good" comments from the wife. It was worth buying just for the last improvement.
