I have just purchased a new plasma tv with many hdmi ports, the problem is most of my old analogue kit has scart type connections. I have found the ideal way to convert analogue scart signals to be up-scaled to 720p hdmi, its easy with this relatively cheap piece of kit.

I must add, this converter has improved picture quality, saved me from having to buy hdmi compliant equipment (for now) and stopped the "picture isnt very good" comments from the wife. It was worth buying just for the last improvement.

What can you do with a "suspended page"? As no webmaster wants to see that as part as the url cache on a website you may own, here are a few ideas. As a starter.

Make sure that when you change hosting plans you kindly ask/notify your web hosting provider to allow the old hosting package to gracefully expire, without allowing it to have a suspended page grrrrrr.

Make sure that before you change hosting plans the new nameservers have fully propogated throughout the www to ensure that no trace of the old hosting dns is visible.

Slap a 301 redirect on any unfriendly url that has been cached and direct it to something of interest, turn it into something for your advantage.
 Having a suspended page cached should'nt be a blight on your good name if you have done nothing wrong.

Car electrical components: maf.

This morning, for no apparent reason one of the electrical components on my partners car decided to pack up.

The Mass air flow sensor, also known as maf sensor was the culprit accorfing to a fault code readout. i then proceded to our local car parts store to buy the new maf sensor. I was shocked! the new component was priced at £130.00.

I decided to try and find out if non original oem parts exist, and found they do, at a great saving.
